ONEUS (Hangul: 원어스) is a South Korean boy group under RBW Entertainment. The group consists of five members: Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong and Xion. They debuted with their 1st mini album "Light Us" on January 9, 2019.

Name[]

ONEUS has two meanings: One is that the members came together by gathering strength from every one of their fans. The other meaning symbolizes ONEUS' mission to bring together regular people who will work side-by-side to create a united world. "ONEUS" in Korean also can be spelled as "One Earth".

History[]

2017–2018: Pre-debut[]

Seoho, Keonhee and Hwanwoong were introduced as some of the male trainees to represent RBW on the second season of Produce 101 during the first half of 2017. However, they were eliminated in 94th, 33rd and 42nd place, respectively, and were unable to join the final debut project boy group Wanna One, in which the members that made the final 11 promoted with an exclusive year and a half contract before they disbanded in December 2018 and officially in January 2019 after their final four-day concert Therefore, which ran between January 24-27.

Ravn and Seoho participated as some of the male trainees to represent RBW on the YG Entertainment survival show Mix Nine during the second half of 2017, where they were eliminated in the 27th place and 19th place respectively. Leedo participated Mix Nine as an individual trainee. However, he did not pass the first audition.

In November 2017, RBW introduced debut project named RBW Trainee Real Life – We Will Debut to launch their boy groups. Keonhee, Hwanwoong and seven other trainees (three male and four female) made their participation in the first chapter of the project in which they invited 100 people to be their audience in the evaluation stage at RBW Art Center. The project would hold events or performances each month and the trainees daily life, consisting of monthly training and evaluations would be aired on Olleh TV and Naver's V-Live. In December 2017, Keonhee and Hwanwoong participated in the second chapter 'Special Party' with their label-mates, MAS.

In early 2018, Keonhee, Hwanwoong and other trainees: Ravn, Seoho and Xion were introduced as pre-debut team RBW Boyz. In April 2018, RBW Boyz introduced their new member Leedo. In June 2018, RBW Boyz were confirmed to debut as ONEUS. On September 27, ONEUS and their labelmates and brother group ONEWE (formerly known as M.A.S 0094 or MAS) released the single "Last Song".

2019: Debut with Light Us, Raise Us, Japanese debut with Twilight, Fly With Us and 808[]

On January 9, 2019, ONEUS debuted with their 1st mini album "Light Us" and it's lead single "Valkyrie". They made their first debut stage on Mnet's music program M Countdown on January 10, 2019.

On March 11, it was announced that Ravn would temporarily halt all group activities due to personal and health issues. In the end of April, he later joined the group's activities after his health improved.

ONEUS released their second EP Raise Us on May 29, with the lead single titled "Twilight".

ONEUS released their third EP Fly With Us on September 30, with the lead single titled "LIT".

2020: Road to Kingdom, Lived[]

2021: Devil, Binary Code, No Diggity, Black Mirror, Blood Moon[]

ONEUS released their first studio album Devil January 11, with the title track "No diggity", the pre-release single "Bbusyeo" and the follow-up track "Rewind".

The group made their second comeback in 2021 with the Japanese single "No Diggity" on March 24. They then released their fifth EP BINARY CODE and its title track "Black Mirror" on May 11.

ONEUS' second Japanese 2021 comeback was their fourth Japanese single "Black Mirror", which was released on August 25.

On October 5, it was reported that ONEUS would be making a comeback with a new album the month afterward. They released their sixth mini album BLOOD MOON on November 9.

2022: Leedo and Xion's hiatus and 2022 ONEUS Tour "Blood Moon", Trickster, Malus, Dopamine and Ravn's departure[]

On January 12, 2022, RBW released a statement that members Leedo and Xion would be taking a break from activities due to health reasons. The former will be taking around a week off due to skin inflammation on the sole of his feet. Meanwhile, the latter will be taking around one to two weeks off as he had strained his knee going down the stairs and is currently wearing a knee brace.

On January 13, it was revealed through a video, that the group would be going on their 2022 ONEUS TOUR BLOOD MOON. The video ended with 14 different cities' names but no specific date. The next day, on January 14, they then revealed that the tickets would go on sale January 15, PST and EST, while it would technically be January 16 in Korea. The first concert will be February 12 in New York while the 14th and final concert will be March 12 in Beverly Hills, California.

On January 20, it was announced that Leedo would be rejoining activites and returning from his hiatus.

On April 12, RBW confirmed that ONEUS is preparing for a comeback in May.[1] On April 19, a logo motion teaser was posted which revealed that the group will be releasing their seventh mini album TRICKSTER on May 17.[2]

On August 12, RBW confirmed that ONEUS is preparing for a new album in September.[3] On August 15, the group released a teaser for their eighth mini album MALUS, which was released on September 5.[4]

On October 13, a teaser was revealed for their first Japanese studio album Dopamine, which will be released on November 23.[5]

On October 17, RBW announced that ONEUS will promote as a five-member group while Ravn will not participate in group activities due to allegations against him.[6]

On October 27, RBW confirmed that Ravn has decided to voluntarily leave ONEUS. The group will continue to promote as five.[7]
